Hello all, I have managed to connect and successfully use a PS3 controller when playing through steam on Mac. I cannot get the controls to work effectively, particularly the axis controls. Would anyone share with me a copy of their inputbindings.xml file or instruct me how to set up the axis controls properly? I tried using Joystick Mapper but it won't let me key 2 PS3 buttons to a function, for example using R1 as a modifier.
I've been at this for hours and I'm fast losing patience with it, hopefully someone here can help.
Enjoy2 is a simple program for OSX that allows you to transform joystick inputs into keyboard or mouse events. If you've ever played a video game which only supports mouse and keyboard input, but you want to use a joystick or gamepad, then Enjoy2 is the program for you.
- For example, you might assign the Mac’s W key to the forward motion of the left joystick and the Fire function to the controller’s O button. According to the developer’s notes, wireless.
- Simulate a playstation controller on games that have PS3 controller support. Very low latency. The application can be tuned so, on most situations, ther is no lag. Very high app compatibility. Remap the functions of any key, button, mouse. Simulation of Sixaxis gamepad, Xbox and others. Use you touchscreen as virtual buttons and pad.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
